Our software combines strategy, content generation, technical optimization, publishing workflows, and performance data into one intelligent system.

As a software engineer at InSpace, you’ll work on scalable backend systems, AI integrations, and workflow orchestration powering AI-native products. You’ll tackle challenges around reliability, latency, autonomous optimization, and orchestrating complex AI workflows across multiple systems.

We move fast, experiment often, and use AI throughout both our product and engineering workflows.

Senior Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who combines strong technical execution with strategic thinking. In this role, you’ll lead work across complex and mission-critical parts of the platform while helping shape our architecture, engineering standards, and ways of working.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to design scalable solutions, make technical decisions, and deliver high-impact functionality. Beyond building features, you’ll mentor teammates, improve engineering quality, and contribute to a culture focused on ownership, learning, and fast iteration.

This is a role with direct impact on product quality, engineering velocity, platform reliability, and how our engineering organization scales, technically, operationally, and culturally.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and improve scalable backend services and core platform functionality
• Lead technical decisions across workflows, integrations, and AI/LLM-powered systems
• Build reliable, event-driven architectures with strong focus on scalability and performance
• Improve observability, testing, CI/CD, release quality, and secure engineering practices
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar tooling in your daily workflow
• Solve complex technical challenges across different parts of the system, beyond your direct area of ownership
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to translate ideas into robust solutions
• Coach teammates through code reviews, technical discussions, and sharing architectural best practices

Who You Are

• You have 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
• You’re strong in software fundamentals: clean code, testing, CI/CD, maintainability, and system design
• You take ownership, move fast in complex systems, and make pragmatic technical decisions with a holistic mindset
• You communicate clearly, collaborate well across teams, and can confidently explain technical trade-offs
• You enjoy solving complex problems, mentoring others, and contributing to engineering best practices
• You have hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar tooling
• You’re excited about how AI is transforming software engineering and actively explore better ways to build, test, and ship software
• Experience with LLMs in production, workflow automation, integrations, martech, or SEO tooling is a plus
• Available full-time at our office at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven
