Junior / Medior Backend Developer/ AI Automation Specialist (n8n + LLMs)

Why this role?

At InSpace, we are building NOVA: AI software that helps companies stay visible online in a world where searching increasingly happens via LLMs (such as ChatGPT) and AI interfaces. Our ambition: a platform that independently creates strategy, creates content, optimizes technically, publishes to CMSs, and continuously adjusts based on data. For this, we are looking for a builder who loves automating, connecting, rapid experimentation, and subsequently making it production-ready.

What you will do

• You will build and manage the workflow and automation layer of NOVA. Specifically:
• Designing and building automations in n8n (and where necessary with code around it).
• Smartly deploying LLMs in workflows: prompts, chaining, tool-calling, evaluating, and iterating.
• Building/maintaining API connections and webhooks (auth, rate limits, retries, idempotency).
• Rapid prototyping (“vibe coding”) to test ideas within hours/days — and hardening the winners for production.
• Improving observability & reliability: logging, monitoring, error handling, cost/latency monitoring.
• Collaborating with SEO/CSM to improve output and process feedback quickly.

You are likely a match if you…

• Feel at home with automation/integrations and get energy from “everything talking to each other.”
• Know n8n really well: nodes, triggers, queues, credentials, error paths, versioning.
• Have experience with APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns.
• Are not afraid to build with LLMs (and understand that you need guardrails/evaluations).
• Can build quickly, but also know when to slow down to make it stable.
• Bring structure: naming, documentation, reusable components, clear flows.
• Nice to have: interest in SEO/marketing automation (but not a must).

• Please note (recommendation): the current salary range on the site is €2,500–€3,000.

How success looks (first 90 days)

• 30 days: you know the most important workflows, bottlenecks, and failure modes; you ship small improvements.
• 60 days: you build 1–2 solid automation features (with good retries/logging) that have a noticeable impact.
• 90 days: you set standards for flow quality (templates, conventions, monitoring) and make knowledge shareable.
