By bridging the gap between non-deterministic AI outputs and enterprise-grade backend stability, you will ensure that NOVA operates flawlessly at scale.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<h3>What You\u2019ll Do<\/h3><p><ul><li>Translate complex business and product challenges into clear technical solutions and scalable software architecture.<\/li><li>Design, build and improve backend services and core functionality for the NOVA platform.<\/li><li>Develop and orchestrate AI-native workflows, LLM integrations, API connections and automations.<\/li><li>Make technical decisions around architecture, reliability, performance, latency, security and scalability.<\/li><li>Look beyond the immediate assignment and identify dependencies, edge cases and future risks early.<\/li><li>Use AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex or similar tooling effectively in your daily engineering workflow.<\/li><li>Evaluate whether AI-generated solutions are technically sound, secure, maintainable and production-ready.<\/li><li>Further professionalize our approach to testing, observability, CI\/CD and release quality.<\/li><li>Work closely with Product, Engineering and Customer Success to turn ideas into working solutions quickly.<\/li><li>Help other engineers grow through code reviews, technical discussions and shared engineering best practices.<\/li><li>Take ownership of business-critical parts of the platform, from problem definition to implementation and optimization.<\/li><li>Establish AI evaluation frameworks and LLM-as-a-judge pipelines to systematically measure accuracy, minimize hallucinations, and catch semantic drift.<\/li><li>Design robust guardrails and fallback mechanisms to sanitize inputs, validate tool-calling execution, and ensure deterministic reliability within probabilistic AI workflows.<\/li><\/ul><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<h3>Who You Are<\/h3><p><ul><li>You have 8+ years experience as a software engineer and have worked on complex, scalable software products or SaaS platforms.<\/li><li>You think from the perspective of the problem, the product and the complete architecture, not just the code.<\/li><li>You understand how systems, services, data, integrations and user needs influence one another.<\/li><li>You have strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, testing, CI\/CD, maintainability and secure development.<\/li><li>You make decisions independently while clearly explaining technical considerations and trade-offs.<\/li><li>You thrive in a fast-growing scale-up where not everything has been defined yet and you help create the necessary structure.<\/li><li>You communicate clearly, ask sharp questions and are confident in challenging existing decisions.<\/li><li>You are willing to work from our office at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven for most of the week.<\/li><\/ul>Experience with production LLM systems, AI agents, workflow automation, cloud architecture, MarTech, SEO technology or data-intensive platforms is a strong advantage.<br><br>We do not blindly focus on job titles or an exact number of years of experience.
